The State Implementation Plan Advisory Panel to the Air Pollution Control Board of Jefferson County was an advisory body composed of citizens, representatives of local industry and representatives of local environmental organizations. It served from 1997 through 2003. At the end of 2003, the Mayor created the Air Quality Task Force with a similar mission.
