Tuesday, August 3, 2004 is an Ozone Action Day!

The air quality forecast for Tuesday, August 3, is that GROUND-LEVEL OZONE will be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups  range, with the Air Quality Index reaching 116.  Sensitive groups are defined as active children and adults as well as people with serious health conditions, such as asthma. Limit prolonged outdoor activity and physical exertion. Ozone levels generally peak during late afternoon and early evening hours.  You can take these actions to help improve local air quality on an Ozone Action Day or any day:
