Notice of Opportunity for Review and Input by the Public

The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board (Board) will provide an opportunity for the public to review and provide input to the Board on four agreements for voluntary emission reductions from three companies that emit 1,3-butadiene, American Synthetic Rubber Company, LLC; Zeon Chemicals, L.P.; and Rohm & Haas Company; and one company that emits chloroprene, DuPont Dow Elastomers L.L.C. All four companies are located in Jefferson County. The agreements are among the Board, the Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District, and each of the four companies.

Written statements will be accepted by the Board, Jonathan L. Trout, Secretary-Treasurer, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745, until 5:00 p.m. March 15, 2004. Written statements will also be accepted electronically until the same deadline via the Internet at the e-mail address "regs@apcd.org". The public may also present oral statements to the Board at the Board meeting on March 17, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville.
