Notice of Public Comment Period and Hearing

The Air Pollution Control Board of Jefferson County opens a public comment period November 14, 2002, on amendments to District Regulation 1.11 Control of Open Burning, Version #9, Draft #6 - Proposed, November 11, 2002. If adopted by the Board, amended Regulation 1.11 will be submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for inclusion in the Kentucky State Implementation Plan.

Written statements will be accepted by the Board, Jonathan L. Trout, Secretary-Treasurer, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745, until 5 p.m. December 13, 2002. Written statements will also be accepted electronically until the same deadline via the Internet at the e-mail address "regs@apcd.org". Oral statements will be accepted at the public hearing on December 18, 2002, at 9:00 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville.
