This event will take place on Saturday, June 15, at the Six Flags® Kentucky Kingdom amusement park. This is a 5K walk, (3.1 miles). Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 8:00 a.m. This is a fund-raising event for the American Lung Association, so walkers are asked to raise pledges for the fight against lung disease. All proceeds will support programs for kids with asthma. There's a six-person-per-team minimum. You and/or your company can sign up to be part of KOPC's team or start a team of your own. We will also be happy to receive sponsorship for the walkers.
