Earth Day 2001

Sunday, April 22 is Earth Day 2001. On that day, the APCD will participate in an Earth Day festival called "Love Earth, Louisville" at Theater Square (4th Street between Chestnut and Broadway), in the Kentucky Theater and along Fourth Street to Broadway from noon to about 7:00 pm. This event is organized by Learning Pursuits, and is produced by the Kentucky Theater Project. It has three themes: spirituality, the arts and environmental justice.

• Native American activities.

At 7:00 p.m., there will be a concert to benefit the Kentucky Resources Council. Admission is $25. Featured performers will include: John Gage & Bob Rosenthal, PNEUMA, Danny Flannigan & the Rain Chorus, Mystic Rhythms, The Garbage Can Band, Michael Kessler and the Working Class Heroes, Misha Feigan, Ya Ya Diallo, David Two Bears
