The Air Pollution Control Board of Jefferson County adopted a program to implement section 112(g) of the Clean Air Act with respect to construction or reconstruction of major sources of hazardous air pollutants effective June 29, 1999. Newly adopted Regulation 5.16 "Control Technology Requirements for New and Reconstructed Major Stationary Sources of Hazardous Air Pollutants" established this program on June 16, 1999.
